Idea Alchemica began its operations in 2006, drawing on extensive experience in the chemical and tanning sectors. Alongside a comprehensive range of established chemical products (for drum leather processing), the company can develop custom products specifically designed to meet particular needs. Moreover, it offers complete technical assistance for the wet phase of leather production, both in Italy and abroad.

From research and development phases to the production chain and technical support, we guarantee quality standards aimed at excellence. Our research and development team works closely with clients to provide effective solutions, adopting the clients’ needs and expectations in the supply of the requested products and solutions.

To ensure highly efficient management of production and research and development processes, we have the appropriate instruments and selected personnel: an in-house laboratory and the production department are equipped with modern machinery and high-performance technologies; our highly qualified technicians possess deep expertise in the chemical-tanning sector and receive continuous training.

Controls and Traceability.

All chemical products manufactured by the company undergo regular testing and stringent quality controls. In addition to the chemical analyses available for each product, we guarantee complete traceability of every batch to the customer.

To this end, we always retain a sample of every product shipped for at least one year, to address any needs for intervention or potential requests from the customer.

ISO 9001: 2015 Certification.

In order to adequately support the strategic approaches defined above, the Management keeps its ISO9001 Quality Management System appropriately updated, pursuing the following principles:

Continuous improvement in the quality level of products and services offered and continuous improvement of system effectiveness
Full compliance with all applicable legislative, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
For sustainable chemistry, continuous improvement in the management of chemical products is implemented, specifically ensuring compliance through the monitoring of MRSL substances via third-level ZDHC certification of our products.
Continuous improvement to conform to Best Available Techniques (BAT)
Customer loyalty and optimization of relationships with suppliers
Careful evaluation of every new product/process before market introduction
Maintaining an open and transparent dialogue with external stakeholders, local authorities, and regulatory bodies

Risk Management

All personnel working in the company are required to respect and implement internal and external operational procedures on a daily basis to ensure adequate management of risks and opportunities that can affect the compliance of products, services, and processes, and thus the effectiveness of the Management System.
